Now that I’m at the age where my personal finances are my own responsibility, I have begun inquiring into how I can optimize this area of my life. I’m no expert in this realm; however, I am blessed to know people who are.
Conversation with POG:
Avoid liquid assets unless you need cash. Holding onto cash is how you lose money because of inflation. If you are holding onto cash, it is depreciating in value if it’s not being invested. Invest all cash assets that you do not need in the short term.
Risk is good at a young age. The younger you are, the riskier a portfolio you should have because the ups and downs will balance out more in the long-term.
Crypto-currency assets are good investments; however, avoid investing in currencies that are jokes-like Dogecoin most likely is.
